Forgot the referral code?
Here’s what you can do.

The short answer

• Not registered yet: use the referral link — the code fills in automatically.
• Just registered, no trades yet: look for “Enter referral code” in the Rewards Center and add it right away.
• Older account / no option: the code can’t be changed; you’d need a new registration (see below).

How to check if you can still add it

1. Log in to the OKX app with your new account.
2. Open the Rewards Center, or tap your avatar to open your profile.
3. Look for “Enter referral code” or similar. If it’s there, enter OK66688 and confirm.

Whether the option appears and how long it lasts is decided by OKX. The sooner you check, the better.

If your account isn’t verified yet

1. Use an email or phone number that has never been registered on OKX;
2. Register through the referral link and confirm the code shows OK66688;
3. Verify the new account and stop using the old one.

If your account is already verified

1. Withdraw all assets to a wallet or another platform (send a small test first);
2. Request account closure in the app’s account settings;
3. Once closed, register again through the referral link and verify with your own ID.
